NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDERS OR VATA VYADHI
The ancients considered nerve impulses to be a kind of wind or air Traveling through the body. Vata, the biological air humor, is the energy that moves through the brain and the nerves, controlling both voluntary and involuntary functions.

Hence, Vata derangements always involve some weakness, disturbance or hypersensitivity of the nervous system. Nervous system disorders are called `Vatavyadhi', Vata diseases, in Sanskrit. They can also be brought on by imbalances of the other two humors. High Pitta (fire) can burn out the nervous system, causing disruption in nerve impulses. Wrong flow causes tremors and involuntary movements. In Ayurveda, nervous system disorders are linked with mental disorders; the mind and nerves are directly connected by a system of special channels.

Nervous system disorders include such minor problems as insomnia, headache and tremors, major malfunctions like epilepsy or paralysis, & such degenerative nervous diseases as multiple sclerosis & Park- inson's disease, many of which are difficult to treat with Western medicine.

Diabetics Or Prameha
According to ayurveda, diabetes is a metabolic kapha type of disorder in which diminished functioning of agni leads to a tendency toward high blood sugar. (Ayurveda recognizes 24 forms of the disease commonly classified under Prameha 4 are due to Vata dosha, 6 are due to Pitta dosha, and 10 are caused by Kapha dosha. The main causes of these diseases are fat, urine, and Kapha buildups due to foods, liquids, lifestyle and others.)

According to the unique assessments of ayurvedic concepts diabetes is the disease which occurs when toxins get accumulated in the tissue and result in circulation blockage. The various root causes of diabetes that ayurveda enlists are poor nutrition and poor digestion, inequity of nervous system, physical and mental stress, and disturbance in natural biological cycle.
